  2. Add Flavor: Stir in tomato paste (natural), vegetarian Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, salt, pepper, and chosen spices. Simmer for 3 to 5 minutes to meld the flavors.
  3. Prepare the Bacon and Cheese Layer: In a separate pan, cook smoked turkey bacon until crisp, then chop into bite-sized pieces. Combine with shredded plant-based cheese and natural gelling agent to create a melty, binding mixture.
  4. Assemble the Casserole: Spread the cooked meat mixture evenly into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle half of the cheese-bacon mixture on top, add an even layer of uncooked tater tots, then top with the remaining cheese-bacon blend.
