Description

Dubai Chocolate is a rich, creamy, plant-based dessert inspired by the vibrant flavors of Dubai’s culinary scene. Made with high-quality dark chocolate (plant-based), luscious coconut cream, and natural sweeteners, this easy-to-make treat features a smooth texture and a glossy finish. Perfect for celebrations, casual snacking, or thoughtful homemade gifts, each bite delivers a complex chocolate depth balanced by natural sweetness and subtle aromatic notes.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 200g Dark chocolate (plant-based), high quality
  • 1 cup Coconut cream
  • 3 tbsp Maple syrup (natural)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract (natural)
  • Pinch of Sea salt
  • 1 tsp Natural gelling agent

Optional Variations

  • 2 tbsp Crushed pistachios or almonds
  • 1/4 cup Dried figs or chopped dates
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder or cinnamon powder
  • Few drops Peppermint extract (natural)
  • 1 tsp Orange zest

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Coconut Cream Base: Gently warm the coconut cream in a saucepan over low heat until it becomes smooth and slightly thickened. This creates the silky foundation needed for the Dubai Chocolate.
  2. Melt the Dark Chocolate (plant-based): Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave in short bursts, stirring frequently to avoid burning. Ensure it becomes silky and smooth for easy combination with the cream.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Slowly pour the melted chocolate into the warm coconut cream while stirring continuously. Add the maple syrup (natural), vanilla extract (natural), and a pinch of sea salt. Mix thoroughly until fully incorporated.
  4. Add Natural Gelling Agent: Sprinkle the natural gelling agent into the mixture, stirring well to dissolve evenly. This will help the chocolate set with a creamy yet firm texture.
  5. Pour and Chill: Transfer the mixture into a mold or dish of your choice. Refrigerate for at least four hours until the chocolate is firmly set but still soft and luscious to the touch.

Notes

  • Use premium dark chocolate (plant-based) for richer and smoother results.
  • Melt chocolate slowly using low heat to maintain shine and prevent bitterness.
  • Refrigerate for at least four hours for optimal texture.
  • Stir constantly while combining ingredients to avoid lumps and blend flavors fully.
  • Allow the chocolate to come to room temperature for about 15 minutes before serving for the best taste.
