Scale
Main Ingredients
- 200g Dark chocolate (plant-based), high quality
- 1 cup Coconut cream
- 3 tbsp Maple syrup (natural)
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract (natural)
- Pinch of Sea salt
- 1 tsp Natural gelling agent
Optional Variations
- 2 tbsp Crushed pistachios or almonds
- 1/4 cup Dried figs or chopped dates
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder or cinnamon powder
- Few drops Peppermint extract (natural)
- 1 tsp Orange zest
Instructions
- Prepare the Coconut Cream Base: Gently warm the coconut cream in a saucepan over low heat until it becomes smooth and slightly thickened. This creates the silky foundation needed for the Dubai Chocolate.
- Melt the Dark Chocolate (plant-based): Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave in short bursts, stirring frequently to avoid burning. Ensure it becomes silky and smooth for easy combination with the cream.
- Combine Ingredients: Slowly pour the melted chocolate into the warm coconut cream while stirring continuously. Add the maple syrup (natural), vanilla extract (natural), and a pinch of sea salt. Mix thoroughly until fully incorporated.
- Add Natural Gelling Agent: Sprinkle the natural gelling agent into the mixture, stirring well to dissolve evenly. This will help the chocolate set with a creamy yet firm texture.
- Pour and Chill: Transfer the mixture into a mold or dish of your choice. Refrigerate for at least four hours until the chocolate is firmly set but still soft and luscious to the touch.
