Description

Grilled Peaches are a sweet and smoky treat perfect for summer. Juicy peaches are caramelized on the grill, enhanced with a cinnamon maple syrup (natural) glaze and a touch of lemon juice. This simple and quick recipe makes a versatile dessert, snack, or side dish that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 4 fresh ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup (natural)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon natural gelling agent
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Peaches: Wash the peaches thoroughly and slice them in half, gently removing the pits. Keep the halves thick enough to stay juicy while grilling.
  2. Make the Cinnamon Maple Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup (natural), cinnamon powder, lemon juice, and natural gelling agent until well combined to create a glaze that will coat the peaches.
  3. Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Lightly brush the grill surface with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Grill the Peaches: Place the peach halves cut-side down on the grill. Grill for 3 to 4 minutes until caramelized grill marks appear.
  5. Apply the Glaze and Finish Grilling: Flip the peaches over and brush them generously with the cinnamon maple glaze. Grill an additional 2 to 3 minutes until the glaze starts to bubble and peaches are tender but still hold their shape.

Notes

  • Choose ripe but firm peaches to ensure sweetness and hold on the grill.
  • Keep the grill hot for good sear marks and enhanced flavor.
  • Do not overcrowd the grill; leave space between peach halves.
  • Use the natural gelling agent sparingly to thicken the glaze without changing its texture.
  • Serve the peaches warm for the best juicy and sweet experience.
