Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Wash and chop all fresh vegetables including leafy greens, tomatoes, red onion, and dill pickles. Slice smoked turkey bacon into bite-sized pieces and shred or slice the plant-based cheese.
  2. Cook the Smoked Turkey Bacon: Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the turkey bacon pieces until they are crispy and golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside to keep warm.
  3. Make the Smash Patties: Divide the ground meat into small balls. Place each ball in a hot non-stick skillet and press down firmly with a spatula to smash the patty thin. Cook until the bottom is browned and caramelized, then flip and cook through. Season each side with salt, black pepper, and a splash of vegetarian Worcestershire sauce (natural).
  4. Melt the Plant-Based Cheese: Place a slice or sprinkle of plant-based cheese on each patty just before removing from the skillet. Cover briefly to allow the cheese to melt into creamy perfection.
  5. Assemble the Smash Burger Bowl: In individual serving bowls, layer the leafy greens first.
